Since the end of the Stonewall riots, Pride Week has been the one week out of the whole year where people of all tastes, preferences, shapes, and peculiarities can come together and celebrate the fact that they are different. This week is a time of acceptance of one’s own self and others as well. In this week no one is less and everyone is equal and loved. Pride week has a number of different events held throughout the week where people, especially in the LGBTQ community come out and shine their colours for the whole world to see. This week was created to show support and give confidence to those who still feel less than everyone else. The street style, especially in this one week of the year, changes drastically. People wear the things they normally would not, things that they would feel embarrassed in if it were any other week in the year.
